Stephen Bauer is an Analyst with Quant Economics. He conducts market research and analysis for projects ranging from antitrust and intellectual property matters to unique issues facing senior executives at publicly traded companies.
Mr. Bauer focuses on taking a proactive approach to answering the myriad economic questions facing our clients. He incorporates his unique set of experiences in both the biological sciences and economics into his diverse work on markets, products, finance, and business practices. Combining his pragmatic style with a rich understanding of market forces, he develops precise analytical solutions to demanding problems. His work encompasses a multitude of issues, including licensing agreements, anticompetitive practices, business valuation, and cutting-edge technologies.
Mr. Bauer graduated from the University of Virginia receiving both a B.S. degree in Biology and a B.A. degree in Economics. He has conducted lab research on Xenopus embryology under Dr. Raymond Keller at the University of Virginia. Additionally, he has authored an economics survey paper on the role of institutional quality as a determining factor in the growth of developing countries.
